- I solved the problem ;) I searched through _all_ the material I had about
- Commodore-diskdrives (Because my diskdrive broke down... It was some problem
- of the actual >drive<. I had to findout WTF error 26 meant!), and I found
- a nice, cute list of "big" CBM diskdrives. According to that list, the CBM
- 2031 (The IEEE-488 version of the good old 1541) needs SINGLE(!)-density disks,
- but, DD disks work fine. The 8250 (Which is a "double-drive" version of the
- MSD-1001) needs Double-density disks.

- 2nd reason: I use a Commodore A500 with an external (obvious ;) ) 5.25" 80
- track diskdrive. I ALWAYS used DD disks for it, and never experienced
- ANY trouble.

- I don't think the tracks are the problem (an Amiga uses up to 83 tracks). I'm
- more concerned about the bit-density...
